Rahu in Jyotish
Rahu is the Moon’s north node, the point where the Moon’s orbit crosses the ecliptic going north. It has no body, which is why it is called a shadow planet (chhaya graha). It magnifies desire and gives results like Saturn, according to the sign and the planets it joins.
Rahu in your chart
Where Rahu sits in your chart (its sign, house, dignity and the planets it joins or aspects) shows how these significations work out for you, and its dasha shows when. See your Rahu in your free kundli, or read chapter 3: the 9 planets.
